2024 FCL Cares Vegas Night Fundraiser Benefiting Make-a-Wish Illinois
At FCL Cares, we believe in the power of giving, and thanks to your generosity at last year’s Vegas Night fundraiser, 14 life-changing wishes were granted to children in Illinois battling critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish Illinois.
Today, we’re proud to kick off our #WishWednesday campaign, where each week we’ll share stories that show the real impact your support has made — stories of hope, joy, strength, and unforgettable moments.
These are more than wishes. They’re powerful turning points in a child’s journey.
A Few of the Incredible Wishes We Helped Grant:
Harper, 12, wished to go to Costa Rica after her cancer diagnosis — and she ziplined through the rainforest with her family, reigniting her joy for life.
Camila, 16, living with a nervous system disorder, wished for her very own Yorkie puppy to love and care for — a new best friend to help her heal.
Andrew, 19, was passionate about food and wished for a culinary adventure in NYC — dining at a Michelin-star sushi restaurant after his stem cell transplant.
Khamari, 10, wished to explore the ocean in Hawaii — a trip that lifted a weight from his shoulders and brought peace beyond his condition.
Stephen, 13, who lost his leg to cancer, wished for a camper to travel the country with his family — a wish that brought freedom and adventure back into his life.
These stories, and many more, were made possible because of you. From magical quinceañeras to adaptive bikes, Disney adventures to musical dreams — each wish was a spark of hope, made possible by our community’s generosity.
